There was cuisine and gifts aplenty at Colour Bar Hair's grand opening in Rockville Center. In the classy, mellow space, the hair color specialists are continuing the trend of friendlier, odorless products and are skilled at newer, more effective techniques like Balayage and Ombré.

The Rockville Centre Chamber of Commerce kicked off the new year by opening new businesses in the village. Two new businesses opened their doors recently. Fortunata’s, a fine Italian food market and deli which also specializes in catering, is located at 13 N. Village Ave.

Not far away, at 93A N. Park Ave., is Colourbarhair. The opening also served as a fundraiser. Luxury hair products and gift baskets were raffled off and all proceeds were donated to the RVC Community Fund.

‘I felt like a supermodel in just one visit. And they are masters of their trade.’ This light-filled salon has a warm, inviting atmosphere and boasts color, hair design, and blow outs just like you see in fashion magazines.
