IZABELA SABOSKI
Founder & Creative Director | Colour Bar Hair | Rockville Centre, New York
|
Trained in Poland and later refined in Paris, Izabela Saboski developed her craft within the European discipline where structure precedes trend and precision defines the result. Her early professional formation emphasized technical mastery, architectural cutting, and the philosophy that hair design should enhance the natural structure and movement of the hair.
During her time in Paris, Saboski further refined her technique within the tradition of Alexandre de Paris, whose influence helped define modern French haute coiffure. There she absorbed the principles of precision, elegance, and refined restraint that continue to shape her work today. Nearly three decades ago she brought that European foundation to New York, building a career that bridges classical technique with modern American beauty culture. Her work quickly led to elite Fifth Avenue salon appointments, backstage collaborations at New York Fashion Week, and styling for nationally syndicated television including Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee, The Maury Povich Show, and Good Morning America. In 2012 she was recognized as “New York City’s Queen of Color,” reflecting her reputation for precision color work and her distinctive approach to dimension and balance. Saboski is also the originator of Geo Color, a method of architectural color placement built on depth, balance, and longevity. Her approach treats color not as decoration but as design — a structural composition that interacts with light, movement, and form. Today she is the founder and creative director of Colour Bar Hair, a luxury destination in Rockville Centre, New York, dedicated to ammonia-free professional color and advanced scalp care. The salon combines European technical discipline with modern innovation, integrating oil-powered color technology with Japanese scalp rituals to support long-term hair and scalp health. For Saboski, beauty is not defined by trend but by structure, balance, and longevity — principles that guide every service performed at Colour Bar Hair. |

THE COLOUR BAR HAIR CONCEPT
|
Colour Bar Hair was created as a modern salon devoted to integrated design, where precision haircutting and dimensional color are developed together as one unified composition.
The salon features INOA, L’Oréal Professionnel’s oil-based, ammonia-free permanent color system. Chosen for its structural integrity, scalp comfort, and luminous reflection, the technology allows color to perform with exceptional clarity while preserving the health of the hair fiber. Balayage. Ombré. Geo Color. Each service is executed through architectural placement and three-dimensional structure. Every design begins with consultation. Eye tone, bone structure, skin undertone, lifestyle, and personal presence guide the placement of depth and dimension. Clients participate in the design process, ensuring that each result is uniquely composed. At Colour Bar Hair, cut and color are inseparable. Dimensional placement is engineered to move with the haircut, allowing the design to evolve naturally with movement and growth. The result is balance, longevity, and hair that appears luminous from every angle. |

FOUNDER'S PHILOSOPHY
“Color is not applied. It is composed. Structure is not optional. It is essential.
When foundation, design, and individuality align — beauty becomes inevitable.”
